Big rumours that Stone cOLD Steve Austin will be involved in a match at Wrestlemania 38. More rumours that another "Austin-level" star will also be on the card - perhaps The Rock? And then there's Cody Rhodes who is apparently close to signing with WWE. And it's also rumoured that WWE will pay Chris Jericho MEGA BUCKS to go back.

Can't believe Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestled in a Wrestlemania main event in 2022. Feels quite surreal. And the match wasn't awful!
I do wonder if he'll do a couple more now. He could get paid big for one of the Saudi Arabia shows. I wonder if they'd even give him a little title run. They've did it multiple times with Goldberg. I'm sure people would it right up.

How was the match? I think he hasn't wrestled in almost 20 years? Yeah, I mean, considering it was his first match in 19 years, I thought it was really good. It was just wild brawl, really, but Austin bumped around well for a man of 57 and delivered a couple of suplexes to Owens. And honest, you have to give it to Kevin Owens because it was his bumping and selling that made Austin look better than he had any right to. |
