he said in a video that he didnt think his character would be handled well in WWE, he made a reference to the Rock saying "who are you?" to Booker T when he came into the ring, in his opinion that buried Booker T and made his think twice about going to WWE, poor excuse in my books, considering Booker T was world champion and headlined Mania whilst in his first WWE run, personally i think Sting wanted to be THE guy, and knew that a former WCW guy would never hold that position in WWE.

he'd be the biggest guy in wwe now, considering all the wwe wrestlers are bland these days.

He'd never be *the* guy in the weeeeeeeee....apparently Vince has a chip on his shoulder against anyone he didn't create, and has a tendency to knock them down when they first arrive. Case in point: The Rock's "who are you?" to Booker T, and Goldust putting that stupid wig on Goldberg when he first showed up. (And a whole bunch of othr WCW guy getting hosed when they first arrived.) Only exception I can think of was Jericho, and that seemed as much a "this guy was a loser in WCW, but watch us make him a star on his first night just to spite them" than anything else.

What about Benoit and Guerrero then?
Re: the "Who the hell are you?" thing with the Rock, he made plenty of guys look stupid with his mic skills, whether they were WWe or WCW. And as for Jericho, they made him the first "unified" champion.
I don't buy it. Vinnie Mac has no chip on his shoulder. He's proven he'll do anything as long as he thinks it'll make him money.

As I understood it, Sting's Christian beliefs have kept him away from WWE before as he tends to disapprove of most of the shit they do. But since they've toned down a lot now, maybe he'll change his mind after a quick burst of Kum Ba Yah with Shawn Michaels.

No wonder he is Axl's favourite ever wrestler.

thing is though Undertaker IS the WWE, he's never had a really good title run so his streak is all he has, he will retire undefeated at Mania, i'd stake everything on it, so the question is, would he come to be another number in the streak? i can see it from a "its the only thing i havent done" kind of way, but i do think should he come before Mania, he'll be fed to the Undertaker as a dream match.

From Meltzer's news:
Rumour is Taker V HHH with Michaels as guest ref. That's no Sting V Taker though...

if it were to happen i dont see why it cant be face v face, HBK and Taker was essentially that, it'd have to be that anyway, Undertaker cant be turned anymore everyone loves him too much, and Sting would be debuting so would naturally be a face because he's a ready made star.

Ben I cant load that video, u posted (the first one) what is it? Its the first Starrcade 97 promo. Similar to the one you posted, but closer to the 2 21 11 thing. I highly doubt its Sting at this point, but I really want it to be. I cant imagine them being so blatant about an Undertaker return, but then again, I can. After the 2nd promo this past week, I'm pretty much convinced its Taker, but am hoping to be wrong.

I think hes been gone since the fall sometime. I dont really know. I havent been keeping up. Im interested mildly as its the run to Mania, but the Rumble was a letdown. I DVR Raw and watch on FFwd.

he was "buried alive" in October by Kane and with the help of Nexus (many believe that was to make the Wade Barrat thing at Mania work) but apparently he was touch and go weather he'd make it to Mania or not, dirtsheets are reporting that he's doing fine and has been booked for a singles match at Mania.

"Is that what you think, Michael Cole?" "Well, I..." "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!!!!!!!!"
....had me marking out like it was 1999. Between that and the Hitman coming back this time last year, it's been a good year for the attitude era memories.

I love how he had the crowd (except the young kids) turn on Cena on a fucking dime when he started talking shit and how they gave up trying to bleep him

Glorious tbh Only problem for WWE is that he'll expose just how shit the rest of the roster is each time he appears

The Rock owns wrestling.
Warrior, Sandman, Hogan, Austin, Sting, not even CM Punk can do that shit.
