It's still pretty ironic, though. Plus, it's not as if 'Taker was screwed or anything; I reckon he wanted The Streak to end. There was talk years back of him wanting Kane to end The Streak. The fact that he's mates with Lesnar outside of the ring makes me think he probably pitched this idea himself.
As a personality, I'm not a fan of Lesnar, but he's got Heyman in his corner so that doesn't really matter too much.
In-ring, he's an impressive specimen. And you're right; there is no indication of a busier schedule but it is a possibility. I don't think he'd go full-time as he's noted to hate travelling but he could definitely add more appearances.
I'm looking forward to RAW tonight.

Scott Steiner > Brock Lesnar
Steiner could beat 8 lesnars in MMA even now.

"The Undertaker suffered some sort of head or neck injury during his match at WrestleMania 30 last night, and was taken to a local New Orleans hospital for observation.
Despite this, however, the match went exactly as planned, and it's being said it was The Undertaker himself who made the decision that Brock Lesnar would end the streak.
Although not confirmed, the impression given backstage after the match last night is that Undertaker is indeed done, and it remains unclear as to how this might alter plans for possible Sting vs Undertaker match at WrestleMania 31"

Talk HBK out of retirement and have him face Sting instead.

No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man's heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe a final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others, and makes them bleed deeper and something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized. By the storytellers, by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honor him and make the running the man did live forever. You, you, you, you, you, you are the legend-makers of Ultimate Warrior. In the back, I see many potential legends. Some of them with warrior spirits. And you will do the same for them. You will decide if they lived with the passion and intensity. So much so that you will tell your stories and you will make them legends, as well. Ultimate. You are the Ultimate Warrior fans. And the spirit of Ultimate Warrior will run forever!
Damn right.

Gotten back into the Wrestling over the past couple of months so this was great timing. Survivor Series was a terrible PPV until the final match, that shit made it worth it alone. Great to see Sting finally in the WWE but I can't help but feel he should have done this when WCW folded, I'm still excited for it though. I don't know what state Undertaker is in now but Sting Vs Taker for Wrestlemania would be a dream. I'll settle for a HHH/Sting fight though which is what I'd imagine they'll go for now.
I checked the forum on my phone the morning after it had been broadcasted and just saw that you had posted in the thread & wondered if Sting had finally shown up, you ruined everything just with your presence Ax.

Ambrose vs Wyatt was pretty good even if it was really just an angle to setup their encounter at the TLC PPV.
The Stinger in WWE is huge, even if it will only be for one match. I don't think they'll risk him going against 'Taker; Sting will be 56 by the time 'Mania rolls around and 'Taker will be 50. There's every chance the match would be honking so Triple H is the safe bet.
Also loved how they made Ziggler look like a big deal, the guy deserves a push and is solid all round, he could be a big deal if they give him a chance to shine.

Isn't triple H even worse than the undertaker from an in ring perspective ?
Sting can only look great in the ring against a great opponent.
Stings last brilliant match was in 2007.
his presence alone transcends wrestling though, I can't wait to see what happens with him.
He has signed a performance contract which means he may end up wrestling several matches.
I just hope for one good match, his opponent will be crucial for this to happen.

I think hype alone could see through a HHH/Sting match, just seeing them square up got me pumped. Even if the match isn't that impressive I think people will buy into the epicness of it, a bit like hogan V warrior or hogan vs the rock, neither great matches but memorable ones for their scale.
Excited to see what happens anyway.

Trips can still go...see his match with Daniel Bryan at wrestlemania this year. I'd be more concerned with old man taker and even older man sting trying to put on a wrestlemania classic...that might not end well.

Punk destroyed HHH in that interview. Listen to it.
I think Undertaker vs Sting only works if they can have a great match which they cannot. I see them teaming up vs HHH and some other mug.
