Caught the cody promo on raw last night, and it was borderline embarrassing with the forced 'holding back tears' stuff. Like, we know you want to get into acting, but i didn't think you were aiming for sub-porno level. Good lord.

watched most of it out of curiosity. my first time watching a big wwe event in many years so barely knew any of the wrestlers. highlight was when they showed the bloke in the crowd wearing a "better dad than chris benoit" tshirt then quickly panned away |

I haven’t watched it yet but apparently CM Punk has lost the plot during a post PPV media scrum and tore strips of several boys in the AEW dressing room while sat beside Tony Khan and Uncle Tony couldn’t do a thing about it.
MFJ also returned after months away from TV. For the last few weeks Punk has been doing this whole shtick about how people from Chicago are different how they all bleed the same blood, and then MJF comes out in Punk’s hometown while celebrating becoming AEW champ and they all start chanting MJF’s name, glorious stuff.
I hope Phil cried himself to sleep last night, the fucking prick.

I can't understand the CM Punk thing - I don't follow wrestling closely so not sure what is going on .. just getting tidbits from Twitter and what not. Why are they having press conferences after wrestling matches? Is this all a work? What is the beef?  |

Royal Rumble 2023 was excellent. 2 really good Royal Rumble matches. The Cody / Gunther final 2 was really great. Although Cody was always gonna win, I started wondering if we might get a huge swerve.
The absolute best thing about the event was Reigns vs Owens, specifically the post-match everts. The Bloodline / Sami Zayn stuff has been amazing in terms of storytelling, and if continued beautifully to the next chapter here.
