Come on... jump the shark? He's been carrying around that briefcase far ages now. It isn't as if it came out of nowhere as far as a person to put the belt on. Ya it was unexpected but that is the whole MITB is about.

Miz is good in the ring, great on the mic and we get a break from Orton. All for it.

Plus, they needed another Main Eventer seeing as Cena looks to be having some time off.

I like Orton but he's better when he's chasing the belt, RKO'ing the shit out of people. There's just not a lot for him to do while he's the champion.

I dont think Miz is good enough in the ring. Promo work he's solid, but all in all I think its too soon. If he proves me wrong so be it, but eh.

I watched that and was half-expecting him to get RKO'd as soon as the bell rang. Sooner or later someone is going to have to lose the money in the bank match. And I was kind of hoping it'd be the Miz....because that would a) be funny and b) be AWESOME.

Mr. Kennedy lost his MITB cash in match I believe.

No, he lost the briefcase thing to Edge, because he got hurt. (I know, I'm as shocked as you are.) Edge then cashed it in later on.

So Jerry Lawler had a pretty good match with The Miz on RAW last night. Impressive for a 61 year old.

I don't like how it made Miz look weak. Your first title defense is barely beating Jerry Lawler and needing help from Coleslaw? Nah not liking that.

So, spoilers for TLC (but honestly, why the fuck are you reading this thread if you don't already know what happened, right), but The Miz retained his title against Randy Orton.

It was plenty brilliant how the heel champion Miz kept his title, placing Orton's body on top of an already broken table. But the WWE went a step further and for the first time ever in history, the ref actually looked up at the Titantron and watched the replay of the ending of the match and restarted it.

I listened to the LAW and read the PWTorch's report and they didn't think the whole restart thing was necessary. But personally I think it just made people hate The Miz even more. As soon as the ref restarted the match, the crowd went ape shit because everyone thought for sure that Orton was now going to win. Instead, Miz still retains not even a minute after the match restarted. Once again, obligatory shots of pissed off little kids.

I think Miz keeps the title until 'Mania, always finding ways like this one to retain that just angers the fans, until more likely Cena takes the belt from him in Atlanta.

Orton at Elimination Chamber for Cena v Orton at Mania i think, they'd be foolish not to whack that at Mania considering how big they both are right now.
