still love Favourites. fucking genuinely brilliant swashbuckling tune, that. Electric Lives is ok but doesn't do much for me, i'm afraid. think the lyrics are a bit cliched. sorry  some nice musical touches though. chrissie, your voice is great. well done fellas  No need to apologise Baz, those are pretty much my feelings on the song too. The solo acoustic number has always been my least favourite rock'n'roll cliché and I was only six-bloody-teen when I wrote it, so it's a b-side for a reason. That said, the punters seem to like it so what do I know? Glad people are enjoying the single, there's plenty more where that came from. |

Had heard it before but just downloaded it, really struck me this time how good the production is. It reminds me alot of Cloudburst, has a similar raw & loud feel to it. I actually really like the b-side as well, I guess it 'feels' like a B-side being so minimal but it works.
I'm not holding my breath for the album though lol
