There have been many clubs on the brink of closing but it has rarely happened. As someone who believes a football club should be part of the community, how can you justify picking up a club and dumping it 150 miles, of whatever north up the country? It isn't the same club and they shouldn't have been granted a football league place. Let's be honest Winkleman was chasing the pounds. MK had two non-league teams before the Dons, which both died as a result of the move, they don"t matter though as they are non-league I guess. Horrible plastic club, plastic fans and plastic ground Just my opinion after all All clubs have to start somewhere, you can't just accuse a club of having plastic fans, would you label any new club in the same terms? Non-league or otherwise. It isn't the same club no I don't know anyone could argue that aside from your geographical error of 80 odd miles. 'There have been many clubs on the brink of closing but it has rarely happened.' Is this to say that it couldn't and wouldn't have happened a team that was sharing a ground and that was utterly fucked financially?

All clubs have to start somewhere, agree entirely, unfortunately that somewhere is called 'amateur football' not taking another clubs place in the football league, thats why mk dons are so detestable

Every club does have to start somewhere, I agree but at the bottom of the pyramid like all other new clubs. Just like AFC Wimbledon or FC United.

Was it the FA that allowed them to begin where they did?
