Liam contibuted his voice to DOYS Liams voice>>>FD This. At least Liam's vocals could left Noel's plod-rock tunes to a listenable standard.

who listens to oasis lyrics anyway. they're all shit but who cares I think the quality of lyrics went down significantly after SOTSOG, pretty much 90% of the lyrics during SOTSOG and before were amazing, one of the reasons I started liking them in the first place TBH.

aye thats the band that are trying to launch a Brit-pop revival. They reckon they'll be headlining Glastonbury in a couple of years and have told The Drums to fuck off back to America first single. check out the band picture man Don't care about the looks and behaviour but the song's not bad tbh Yeah, it's a good NoWaySis tune. glad they are back.

the fact that by the song titles you can already know they're oasis songs pretty much means they're shit... but like i said, who cares.

thing is that other bands tried to copy that style but gloriously failed.

yes but these other bands were just terrible as a whole. oasis was a glorious band and the message/attitude that came with their music (not talking about the whole thing outside their music) was fucking great. when i listened to definitely maybe as a kid it was then that i knew i wouldn't give a fuck for the rest of my life

still, to say all the lyrics were completely shit doesn't do justice to songs like cast no shadow, slide away, listen up or live forever. for each of them i'd give noel 100 songs of lyrical nonsense for free.

Agreed 100% Not every song has to be a perfect poem set to music, a lot of the time the lyrics have to fit around the melody and it doesn't really matter if there's a message to the song or not, as long as it sounds good.
