Went back to their debut the other day which I used to love, but it wasn't as good as I remembered it. Red Morning Light & Joe's Head still rock the fucking shit but a lot of the rest of it sounded a bit flimsy and of its time. Aha Shake will always be the bollocks tough, great album. Then the third one was really good too and dipped it's toe into what would have been a few interesting directions for them (which they then flat out ignored ever since) kinda making it their SOTSOG. Only problem with that album is the last 4 songs which seem to drag on and on and on.
Then they split up right?

I thought the third was the start of the decline. Some great tunes but also moments that gave us a glimpse of what they were to become.
