"I mean, when we do interviews like this round the world, we're subtitled all the time" "...cos they're mongs man" "what, the world? the world are all mongs" "fuckin' all of 'em" "good point, well argued" "...mongs" Some of this one is ridiculous, wish bands gave interviews like this today tbh.

Ha I knew it would be this when I saw you posted on this thread. I'm glad I'll catch them live this year but tbh I'm a bit sad he won't be playing guitar

I suspect he will on some tracks. It won't be all new stuff live I wouldn't have thought.

Love this version. They should have put more synth on the album version.
Connor is back again full time now. PERFECT

Spent quite a bit of time watching NPR's tiny desk thingies: Wilco, Wolf Alice, Diane Coffee, Car Seat Heardrest. Fantastic.

This has always been one of my favourite Cat power songs, such a hidden gem... ...but I just found she re-recorded/re-covered it in 2011 for a charity video featuring Manny Pacquiao, wtf For me a classic case of trying to make a song more uplifting and interesting but it actually sounding duller. The simplicity of the orginal is truly beautiful. Just thought I'd share this because I've just remembered how much I adore Cat Power

This new Coldplay video is visually amazing, if you can leave the band members scenes behind there are some truly engaging moments.
