I'll be seeing them on Sunday neet. Looking foward to it cos I've never seen them live and I'm hoping for a good setlist. Hopefully they don't play too much shit from the last album but its inevitable that they will play at least 3 or 4.
I can see why people are pissed off with them, it pisses me off as well the way they've gone since 2008 but it baffles me the way some people seem to be embarassed or too cool to admit they like them anymore. The last album is fucking dire but surely they can't be wrote off after one bad album. They do need to stop this fucking mainstream direction they've took though.

I think as much the people they now attract as it is the music. Obviously other peoples opinions on music shouldn't affect our own but when you have some complete toenail dressed head to toe in Topman guff and you know for a fact 2 years ago they were still listening to UK Garage and now they're giving you that look that says "I'm Indie too now!" it's hard not to want to fuck the band off and go listen to The Horrors first album.

A couple of weeks ago Rolli showed me a video. It was Dickie Ashcroft looking all Sting-like hanging out with some blacks in a studio. It had a We Are the World type feel. It was utter shit and I was dumbfounded by it.
