3 new releases on Yellow Peril

Well, the EP is on the cards, Karl. I don't want to rush this one, though. Tbh I've been lacking any creative drive in the last few months but it seems to be back. Reckon the next EP will be a big improvement over 'The Weekend EP'.

Once The Juice comes (I don't mean Bobothy) I have to have the project wrapped up within about 6 hours otherwise I lose interest. Spread your juice, you have a concept. Who is mr Xang? How did you receive his letter? What does Xang mean to you? What does Zang make of the current situation around the UK?

What a day for Yellow Peril Records. With not one, not two, but three brand new releases on the label.

First up is the collaboration with the soapbox of the poetry of Wintersox

A collection of poetry by the artist Wintersox read & performed by fans from all around the world. From Italy to Columbia. From Holland to America. From Mexico to Deptford, this is a global affair to show our appreciation to a true artist.
Wintersox himself has contributed three pieces to this record which surely will go down as a benchmark release for Yellow Peril Records

Second is the debut by some Scottish bloke from work called George.

Buntline Special were a 5-piece Country-Rock band who recorded an album 'First Shots' at Porcupine Studio's in TCOTU in the early 90's which had been lost for over a decade. The audio was rescued from the original master tape owned by the guitarist & vocalist George & mastered onto CD then to MP3.
This lost classic record is now available for free download through Yellow Peril Records so sit back, get that moonshine from out of the fridge & let George & his band Buntline Special deliver you a dose of timeless Country-Rock.

After the release of his last E.P 'A fistful Of Chords' singer/songwriter Karl Mahoney announced his retirement as a solo artist to concentrate on a new Garage-Punk band with Kevin Burgess. In just the short space of 18 months the TCOTU based singer/songwriter had recorded four EP.s & two full length LP's. For the first time ever the best work that was contained on those records are available in one small package entitled 'Rolling Thunder - The Best Of..' & of course as always is available for completely free through Yellow Peril Records.

Mate of mine is a bass player but he's grown sick of his band and after a few drunken acoustic sessions with me he thinks it'd be better if he fucked the band off and me and him did something together with the songs i've written, so lets see where this goes...
