Noels a bit of a wildcard entry with his solo album.....time was it'd have been a pure dad rock fest with obliglatory weller and Ashcroft guest spots......but after elements of the last record, the remixes and the amorphous androdgonos link up it could be a lot more interesting.....

At least now there'll be one decent vocalist on Noel's solo record lol  I don't know if I could listen to a whole album of Noel sung choons without getting bored. His vocals suit acoustic/ballad/slow paced songs, don't think he could pull off anything rocking or heavier. |

full on what a shit song that was It's fucking superb when you're running/cycling ;D ;D i put it on full blast when i'm cleaning or at the gym  love it, but of course i'm biased towards him. i'm not sure what to expect from a solo album, but i know i'm dying to hear anything he comes up with. i'm a sucker for anything he does acoustically, but also love when he does stuff like Waiting for the Rapture & Falling Down  |
