Bad start to my football season. Everton, Sours and Wigan lost. Second time i've ever backed wigan. Lost both times. cunts.
HOWEVER. A weird anomaly has cropped up on betdaq and betfair. Barcelona are currently 1.45 to beat sevilla on betfair and 2.82 on betdaq.
Literally buying money.
Lovely atuff.

Now that the season has had time to bed in it's time to start investing again.
BET OF THE WEEKEND
Fulham to beat Blacpool @ 13/10
Blackpool managed to keep a clean sheet against Wigan but as I pointed out at the start of the season, they're dead certs for relegation. Their frailties were exposed time and time again last week and it's difficult not to see Zamora, Duff and Dempsey creating a hatfull of chances. Blackpool's crowd will be up for it as it's their first home Premiership match ever but that can only compensate for so much. After the euphoria of the first week has died down it is once again obvious that Blackpool are the worst team the Premiership has ever seen. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEXT BEST
Cardiff to beat Portsmouth @ 7/5
The capture of Bellamy has to be one the best transfers of all time. One of the best players in the world and will score for fun in this division. Cardiff already boasted the best attack in the division before Bellamy's arrival, the Portsmouth defenders will be having sleepless nights.
Portsmouth have been decimated as everyone knows and could be weakened further by the weekend as Wilson looks to be on his way to Stoke. The heavily waged and influential Utaka is also injured, further decreasing the threat of Portsmouth's already powder puff attack, which will help Cardiff keep their clean sheet which will surely guarantee them victory.
Don't be a Burke and back Bellamy's Bluebirds. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My other bets
Chelsea V Stoke
Chelsea have had a great start to the season but I simply can't have them as short as [1/10. Stoke looked more than a match for a very talented Spurs side last week and can provide obdurate opposition in TCOTU's West End.
The draw at 17/2 is the best bet. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blackburn V Arsenal
Another team who are far shorter than they should be is Arsenal at a barmy 4/6 to beat Blackburn. The bookies have overreacted to Arsenal's result against Blackpool but it shouldn't be forgotten that were far from impressive when they faced a deeply average Liverpool team. Blackburn have already beaten one of the big 5 this season and can grab another famous victory here.
Blackburn to beat Arsenal - Draw no bet
(not sure about the odds right now...
11/2 just to win though ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spurs & Man U double
Elsewhere SPurs and United to beat Wigan and the 'appy 'ammers looks to be a banker double. You won't get rich but you will get your money back with interest.
Around 1/2
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday's matches provide little value.
Everton are better than Villa and have a great chance of winning but odds of 2/1 aren't that generous. It's probably still the best value for Sunday.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lower leagues for shits and giggles.
Might be worth opposing Stockport and Southend until they prove otherwise. Both teams in dire finacial straits and had their squads obliterated over the summer.
Get on Bradford to beat Southend (FRIDAY) @ 10/11 and Shrewsbury to beat Stockport @ 11/8

I can see Southend beating Bradford tbf, both sides are far from impressive at the minute but Southend and their tinpot Friday night games (so they don't have to compete with TCOTU clubs)
Either way its bound to be danny dyer

I've started having a few quid on the football again at the weekend. It's nice heading into the bookies just before three after a painful trip around town earlier in the day, then heading home to unwind with Final Score. Blame freeview for Final Score.
This weekend's accumulators...
Tottenham Liverpool Ipswich Oldham Aberdeen
£5 returns £52
Blackburn Newcastle Cardiff
£1 returns £39.60

Shrewsbury and Cardiff winning meant I made a small profit last weekend.
This week I have put a whole £25 on Torquay to beat Southend @ 11/8
Bury to beat Gilingham is another possibility. I'll see tomorrow, I'll probably have wasted in on the roullette by then.

Considering we haven't won away in 16 months, have more than half the first team out injured and we have a terrible record at Gigg Lane anyway - I would say it is more than just a possibility Byram. Smart money would be on a draw tbh

Anyone got a coupon on for this weekend?
Will probably stick one on tomorrow. Looking at Newcastle, Ipswich, QPR, Colchester/Sheff Wed. Depends on value though as Newcastle are a pretty poor price.

sunderland to beat wigan @ 2/1
Wigan did well to beat spurs, bu spurs were emotionally drained after qualifying for the CL just three days earlier. Also Wigan were only on top for about 5 minutes.
Sunderland should win this game.
Also going for a Arsenal, City, Newcastle, Chelsea accumulator.
Might have Everton as well.
