Absolutely fucking shocking  And totally predictable too, I scored it 117-113 to Marquez, it wasn't even close. My brother had it almost the same and the two Steve's (Bunse and Collins commentating on primetime had it 117-112 and 118-113) - all to Marquez obviously. I told my bro when the scorecards were being tallied that Marquez will get robbed here, I knew it would happen, there's too much money in Pac for it not too happen. Judging in boxing is so corrupt and when there's such a huge fight in Mayweather Pac potentially on the table, there was no way that Marquez was getting the decision. What surprised me was that they didn't even try and show some shame by at least scoring it a draw, one judge had to it Pac by 4 points! I don't know if the official scorecards have been released by the WBO yet but I can't wait to see which rounds he felt Pac won. He should be shot, that cunt judge has proved himself to be a loyal vegas judge last might, there was more money on offer for the following people if Pac won - Nevada boxing commision, the WBO, Top Rank promotions, HBO, The Vegas Casino's and perhaps most inportantly, all the Fillipino high rolling gamblers who bring millions of dollars to las vegas for every Pac fight), all had a vested intrest in the fight and judges that cater for those interests are rewarded by getting posted to the high profile bouts and the whole sorry thing continues. As long as the above are making money fuck the fans. You could argue that it's ok as MArquez may well get a rematch and all the financial bonuses that come with it. But it shouldn't be about money, Marquez has been robbed twice now against Pac, a 4th fight isn't needed. Who pays for this 4th fight? Us the fans, we keep getting shit on by these fuckers, Bob Arum is the devil incarnate. There ruining boxing with this shit time and time again (Pascal vs Hopkins 1, Macklin vs Sturm, Campillo vs Murat / Shumenov, Froch vs Dirrell), when you know that there's no chance one fighter can win without a knockout what's the point in watching. People are accepting these robberies too as 'part of boxing' well I say bollocks to it. Can't be arsed with this shit anymore. Rant over. |

still not seen it yet. read around the opinions. some mixed on it. but the vast majority have marquez winning. i thought marquez won the 2nd fight. surprised arum made the match. given the problems pac had the previous two times. don't see a 4th fight now. |

Boxing Can't see how a 4th fight would solve anything, apart from Pac's knock downs and a few agressive rounds in the first and second fights, Marquez has basically bossed Pac over the trilogy. If they fight again, whats going to change? Marquez still won't get a decision. Unless there hoping that Marquez will suddenly age and start to fight like a 38 year old man. If you keep yourself in tip top shape, don't take excessive punishment in the ring and look after yourself as Marquez does you can have really have a long career even in a sport as brutal as boxing. |

Sick of people banging on about how many more punches Manny threw. Doesnt matter how many you throw if they arent connecting. Everytime he came foward Marquez would counter and his shots were hurting Manny. Marquez was never troubled and in total control of the fight.

Everybody involved with Manny is full of bullshit. Why is Freddie Roach treated like some kind of man of honour? he's the biggest cockroach out of them all ''we are sick of hearing about what Mayweather has to say', yeah cos your running scared. It's not really shocking though Manny is a politician aint he, knows how to spin the media, lie through his teeth, gain favour with judges/journalists/money men, pretend he's won fights. This whole situation highlights that ''Pac-Man'' is the biggest fraud in boxing. Cotto Anywhooo, what do people make of the proposed Ricky Burns vs Kevin Mitchell british showdown? Looks to me to have all the makings of a classic. Burns seems to be getting better and better and Mitchell is a talented boxer who should have made more progress than he has. Mitchells an interesting character too (ok he's a total cunt), but boxing needs more people like him and Tyson Fury to spice things up. |
