Never been a fan of Froch he is so boring to watch, a stiff and one dimensional fighter. That is retarded Axl. Froch vs Kessler and Froch vs Pascal were hardly 'boring' fights.

I'm not saying all his fights are boring, you put any two fighters in a ring at any level who want to fight and it's never going to be a boring fight is it ? I find his style to be very boring, he reminds me of a cross between margarito with less charisma and a stiffer Ricky hatton.
Plus at best hes only really beaten one arguable A level fighter in Abraham, and maybe two B level fighters, in dirrell and pascal. His record of opponents is really quite bad , 28 wins at age 35 with zero fights in Vegas, not great is it?
As a package, He is a B level fighter. Who cannot be compared to the likes of Hatton.

US boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr has been jailed for 90 days by a Las Vegas court after pleading guilty to assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, in 2010.
He was also ordered to pay a fine of $2,500 (£1,600) and complete 100 hours of community service.
Mayweather, 34, agreed to a plea deal, meaning he will not have to answer felony charges of beating Ms Harris and threatening two of their children.
Prosecutors said Mayweather's history meant jail time was appropriate.
"He just continually gets himself into trouble and he is able to get himself out of it as well," Prosecutor Lisa Luzaich told Judge Melissa Saragosa.
"Essentially it is because he is who he is and is able to get away with everything. The only thing that's going to get this man's attention is incarceration."

Talking of banged up boxers, i was out with a couple of lads from work for a pint yesterday and former WBU Welterweight champion Eamonn Magee was in the bar scrounging drinks of people, he looked in a right mess. Was sad to see, he's had one hell of a rough ride in life including being kneecapped by the IRA. We bought him a drink more out of fear than anything else as he has a history of knocking the fuck out of people in Belfast bars.

I must admit, despite being from the mean streets of Sidcup I'd be pretty intimidated to visit parts of Belfast.

nutcase. top fight with Hatton, I remember watching Hatton getting put on his arse in the 1st and being really worried he might lose his unbeaton record, proper war ;D ;D that fight proved what a hardcase magee was. stood in the same corner of the ring for most of the fight and just spat on the canvas after another hatton left hook went pounding in.

Manny Pacquiao camp shuns May 5th fight MANILA, Philippines -- Manny Pacquiao's camp says there is no economic sense in setting up a bout with Floyd Mayweather on May 5 after the unbeaten American publicly challenged the Filipino champion via Twitter. Pacquiao's financial adviser Michael Koncz told The Associated Press on Thursday that a 45,000-seat boxing arena being built in Las Vegas won't be finished before the end of May and staging the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight in a smaller venue is "foolish from an economic standpoint." Mayweather challenged and taunted Pacquiao to a May 5 bout in a tweet on Tuesday. "Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out let's fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see," he tweeted. Mayweather is available for a fight in May at the MGM Grand Garden after a judge agreed last week to postpone his jail sentence for domestic violence until June. Mayweather was sentenced to 87 days in jail, but likely will serve less time. The MGM Grand seats about 17,000, which could fetch around $20 million in sales, but the larger arena could raise an additional $30 million, Koncz said. "Why would I tell Manny to fight on the 5th and throw away a percentage of 30 million? That's crazy," he said. Top Rank promoter Bob Arum has told the Philippines' GMA television the only reason the fight won't happen is if there is an "economic problem." He said the fight "could happen very, very easily" at the end of May -- enough time to build the outdoor arena "the fight so badly needs." "I will also guarantee Manny's purse," he said. "In other words, Manny doesn't want to go into the ring and just fight out a percentage." He said Mayweather is looking for "outside parties to guarantee his end of the purse." "So, until he finds the angel, there is no fight," Arum said. In a separate interview with GMA, Pacquiao said that if Mayweather agrees to a "50-50 sharing, there will be no problem." "The purse is not the issue right now, the date is," Koncz said. "But we don't have a problem splitting it 50-50." espn.go.com/b...ayweather-fight
