and if you include in the average the fights mayweather had with women that generated $0.00, pac really should be getting 95%

Floyd may generate more money for himself, but that's because he seems to have a better deal with GBP than Pac has with Arum, because, as we all know, Arum is the devil. Just because he personally earns more money than Pac doesn't mean he generates more interest, bigger numbers or is more popular. Compare the US ppv buys for three of there recent shared opponents and you can see that there's not much in it - Marquez: Mayweather 1.0 million, Pac 1.4 mill Mosely: Mayweather 1.5 mill, Pac 1.25 mill Hatton: Mayweather 0.9 mill, Pac 0.85 mill. Yes there are other factors (viewing figures outside of the us, timing that each fought the opponent) but to me it's pretty blatent that there about as popular as each other, both are mega stars and the whole thing just needs to be split 50/50 for everything and they just need to get it over and done with.

The winner will get more in the long run anyway.
No point calling someone out and then backing away from a 50/50 split.

Breaking news:
As Quackman is ducking floyd and running scared.
Floyd just confirmed he will step up to junior middleweight to fight Cotto. Welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. will rise in weight and challenge junior middleweight titleholder Miguel Cotto on May 5 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas
Great move, and the step up will present a semi challenge for floyd at 154.
Cotto will be the complete antithesis of the weight drained fighter who fought Pacquiao. Fuck me floyd is so smart ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Meanwhile Pacquiao will go on to fight the legendary LAME-ONT PETERSON.
ROFL.
May 5th, floyd wins his second real middleweight belt ;D and makes it 43-0
sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet ;D

Why have you forgotten to list shared opponent Oscar De La Hoya? You are wrong, floyd is the biggest star in boxing since Ali, and he has the numbers to prove it. This isnt speculation, this is simple fact. Take Floyds 42 fights, and compare them with Pacquiao's 59, and the numbers generated by floyd piss all over pac's Forget about the old adage, "Follow the money." Floyd Mayweather creates the trail of money that others follow. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D There has never been anything like floyd mayweather in boxing, and there never will again.

AXL - I didn't forget to list the De La Hoya fights, I just didn't think it was a fair comparison as Mayweather was well established as a ppv fighter when he fought De La Hoya (hence the phenomenal numbers, 2.5 mill), whereas Pac's fight against De La Hoya was his first ppv fight. After Pac beat De La Hoya it established him as a major ppv fighter, making comparisons from that point on legitimate. As for the Cotto fight, it's a good match up, no one wanted to see Pac beat up Cotto again and it will be interesting to see how Mayweather gets on with him. I doubt it'll be Pac versus Lamont Peterson, i've heard that it's pretty much nailed on that it'll be Pac versus Timbo Bradley. Which might be ok actually, as Bradley is a preasure fighter and generally Pac has fought best when facing come forward fighters. Apparantly Arum has signed up Lamont Peterson and he might be going in with Marquez, which again is a decent match up but where the fuck that leaves Khan I don't know Maidana is fighting Devon Alexander in Feb so that leaves ermmmmm Erik Morales or Shane Moseley, both at the end of there careers and hardly the kind of victories Khan needs to get Mayweather in the ring with him FAKE EDIT- actually fuck that, just remembered that Ortiz versus Berto was cancelled as Berto has torn a bicep, Ortiz and Khan are both promoted by Golden Boy, MAKE IT HAPPEN. ;D

I love Roger Mayweather A three-division champion and one of the biggest draws in the sport, Cotto has bounced back very well from a November 2009 defeat to Pacquiao by winning three straight over former title holders Yuri Foreman, Ricardo Mayorga, and most recently Antonio Margarito in a grudge rematch this past December 3rd at Madison Square Garden in New York. Upon hearing the news of the Mayweather-Cotto announcement, I paid a stop to Floyd Jr.’s personal gym in Las Vegas and caught up with his uncle and trainer Roger Mayweather to get his take on the bout. “He can’t do shit with him anyways ! ,†Roger said of Cotto. “Because he don’t know shit. You seen Pacquiao whoop his ass didn’t you? Shane Mosley whooped his ass too. I thought he should have got the decision but they were fighting in New York, that’s why he didn’t get it, New York don't know shit!" Never one to be easily impressed, Roger shot down the threat of Cotto instantly. Cotto looked solid in busting up Margarito’s right eye last month and forcing a stoppage seconds into the tenth round. Margarito was the first man to hand Cotto a defeat three and a half years ago and while his vindication was cause for applause in some circles, Roger could have cared less. “Fuck no, get the hell out of here,†said Roger when asked if he was impressed by Cotto’s display. “I don’t give a fuck about Margarito. Margarito aint shit. Margarito aint a pro.†Roger was asked what his nephew would bring to the table that Cotto hasn’t seen before and his response was concise. “Everything he aint never seen. He knows what the fuck he’s up against !†Mayweather added.

Trained something like 20 seperate champs, including Sugar Ray Leonard and some guy called Ali. Unbelieveable. He was floating around the front of the MGM in the lobby next to the ring that was put in, he had just finished a book signing or something like that, me and my mate had went down to buy a Hatton T-shirt and we seen a few people talking to him so we just chanced our arm, and we spoke to him for about 5 mins. For all its worth (probs just agreeing with us) he thought Hatton had a good chance against Floyd.
