Pointing at the belt and saying "number one" after that! Rumours he didn't make a penny from the fight and McClosky made him look very ordinary. Khan is such a mong. I reckon Barry Hearn would have sparked him out as well at the end.
It's rediculous they are talking about him vs Mayweather.
Khan trying to act like he came out of that looking good is terrible, he was winning the fight but because of the nature of the end he should have been a bit more low key in my opinion.
Well that sucked as an ending but to be fair he was winning the fight and I reckon he would have stopped him.
McCloskey isn't a shit fighter, he's a solid top 10 contender in the division. And at the end of the day Khan beat him fair and square. Kahn needs to forget this whole fight and all the negativity surrounding it and move on onto Timothy Bradley next and he'll need to be at the top of his game to beat him.
I don't mind the whole kidology about acting up after the fight, it's part of boxing. He beat the guy so he's obviously going to celebrate, perhaps he should have toned it down a bit but if you act like you've just been beaten people will make even more of a big deal about his supposed none performance.
I was at the MEN tonight and it was pretty mental, I would say a third of the crowd were there for MCCloskey and the atmosphere they created was temendous, can't wait to go to another fight live. Even with the disappointing ending the whole night was a brilliant experience, the buzz from a title fight is on par with a cup final or something. Amazing.
Khan was swinging like he was pissed in that fight. He probably would've won tbh but there's no way on this planet he's ready for Mayweather.
He should fight Murray or Mitchell next as that would be a guaranteed big pay day and he has a chance of winning and would increase his bargaining power.
If he gets greedy and goes after Bradley or Mayweather he'll lose badly and have no more paydays left.
Amir Khan's trainer Freddie Roach is pushing for the boxer to step up from the light-welterweight division to take on Manny Pacquiao.
Controversial circumstances surrounded Saturday's WBA title defence where the technical points decision favoured Khan after opponent Paul McCloskey was cut by a clash of heads during the sixth round.
Roach now wants Khan to move up to 147lbs where he can take on stable-mate and good friend Pacquiao.
However first Khan will look to clean up in the light-welterweight division against Timothy Bradley.
Roach told The Sun: "I want Amir to unify the light-welterweight division by taking on WBC and WBO champ Timothy Bradley.
"Then I want him to move up to 147lbs and take on the big buys for big money. That's the plan we are working on.
"I know Tim Bradley very well and he is one hell of a fighter, but I would put Amir in with him tomorrow and expect my boxer to win."
Roach believes the winner should then take on Pacquiao.
"Their fight will determine who is the best at 140lbs and then the winner should go up to 147 and take on Manny Pacquiao," he said. "That is my feeling." Powerful
Khan has previously said he would not fight his friend Pacman, but has since has a change of heart.
"Fighting at 147 would suit me better. I'd be stronger, more powerful at welterweight," he said.
"I'm hitting harder now so what would I be like if I stepped up a division?"
July 23 has been scheduled as the provisional date for a showdown with American Bradley, who is currently unbeaten in 27 fights.
"I am taking five weeks off and when I get back to LA and know it is Bradley I could be facing next, it will push me even further," said Khan.
Bradley defended his WBO and WBC belts with victory over Devon Alexander last time out - while he previously dethroned Britain's Junior Witter in 2008.
If he wins Bradley why not fight pac? He'd have nothing left to prove at 140 and the best fighter in the world is one weight division up.
He's been at 140 for a couple of years now and is one fight away from cleaning out the division. I'm sure his body could handle it at 147, afterall pacmans hardly a natural 147 himself, they may even fight at a catchweight.
Don't get me wrong I think Pac would win but with Khan's speed, offensive skills and sometimes pretty open defence I think it would be a very entertaining fight.
Yeah Pac Moseley was a bit shit, should've seen it coming really though, Moseley was dog shit in his last fight against Mora and was very reluctant to exchange.
It was interesting though to see how much trouble Pac had when his opponent actually showed some defensive skill as Moseley did. When you look at his last 6 opponents (Diaz, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito) all of them pretty much stood in front of him begging to be hit and pac duly ripped them apart.
Like axe says Floyd will be probably now be heavily favored to beat him.
Fights Pac and wins - is 50 million richer and ends with an awesome resume, an unbeaten record and is remembered as an all time great and definately the greatest fighter of the last 20 years.
Fights Pac and loses - is 50 million richer, can always earn more money with a rematch (if he loses you can bet it will have been a close fight), wins people's respect by taking the fight and manning up
Doesn't fight Pac - is 50 million poorer and everyone remembers him as a ducking piece of chicken shit who couldn't take the final step and answer everyones questions.
fights someone else - pointless, there's no one else out there that represents what pac does.
