In the last 40 years, the only team in England not to finish in the top 6 of any division is Coventry City

Birmingham had 3 shots last weekend against wolves, 0 on target
good thing we got called off today, still think McLeish is a gem of a manager, he'll go far

Barcelona made 938 passes v R.Sociedad last week, 25 more than Stoke have made in their last 3 PL games put together (913)

I don't know about you lot, but where would the fun be in being a Barca fan?

I'm not sure if your'e aware of this or not Brad but football is about winning and Barcelona do that rather often while playing the best football on the planet.

I'm sure its great fun wiping the floor with no mark Spanish teams week in week out.....
But hey, I don't agree that ''football is about winning either''.
Point taken about the best football mind!

Football is a competition. You can't actually disagree, it's the very foundations of the idea of the game.

Win, lose or draw
3 outcomes that are all possible. Ask any of the teams at the bottom of the Premiership away at Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge, is it about winning then? When Stoke stick 10 men behind the ball to play for a draw?

The discussion was about the fans. If you can't see how Barca fans obviously have plenty of fun then we'll just forget it.

I dunno ask loads of west ham fans if they want Sam Allardyce under the guarantee that he would win them games or someone who plays football and the silly cunts would still prefer a football a football man (i.e would risk not winning for good football)

I'd imagine SJ has more fun following Linfield with his mates than your average Barca fan. Football can be about a thousand things besides winning. I dunno ask loads of west ham fans if they want Sam Allardyce under the guarantee that he would win them games or someone who plays football and the silly cunts would still prefer a football a football man (i.e would risk not winning for good football) My mate was saying this the other day. They want a man to follow the tradition of playing good football, not Big Sam. Hopefully they get a football man so they play some good stuff in the championship next year

Look, you're all at it. Argue all you want but my original comment is undeniable. It must be unbelievable to be a Barca fan, what with the 900 passes a game and so on.
Now if you're just looking for an argument for arguments sake then fair enough but you can do it alone.

Yep, I've had someone who's been a season ticket holder for near 30 years say he wouldn't renew if they had big sam in charge. Hope they get him

I wonder how many Barca fans have ever been as happy as this chap? That bond between fan and player is worth more than any trophy.
