Had a listen to the record and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I just didn't click with me.
I did just listen to Weekend - Sports though and that's pretty fantastic.

i'm not that sold on the album either, it sounds like antony & the johnsons and bon iver quite a lot, which isn't what i was expecting from the guy tbh

tbh i had such huge expectations for this album that i was bound to be disappointed. my morning bus ride was quite majestic yesterday with this one

i do think it's a little disappointing. like babu said, some of it is very antony & the johnsons. which isn't a bad thing as i like antony & the johnsons. i think james blake is more talented and capable of something a bit more exciting and innovative though.
hope it grows.

just listened to those youtubes above, and they've all left me rather cold
He can put a song together, but it's all a bit too subtle and a little too sparse..and well, boring.
I'm also a fan of bon iver, but this doesn't remind me of him.
