Those lyrics are about spot on apart from maybe it should be 'deadend eyes' (I.e the eyes are dead) and I think 'call it luck' rather than love

6/10 it's okay huge problem with it though, and when I say huge I mean fucking huge. Gems Solo, why on earth is it there, when you have a potentially incredible andy bell solo that starts and fades out in the last 5 seconds of the song. Andy Bell isnt the WCW Sting, he's a guitar player. whoever made this decision needs fucking shooting. and is the reason why I'll probably skip it. Can't believe how angry this has made me. I'd bet any money this is Gem's song. I agree on the first solo, it's pretty much Noel by numbers and is a bit of a waste. But other than that it's a massive tune. Liam's sung precious few proper rock n' roll tunes in the last decade which is ridiculous when you consider that even at 50% how much better he can nail this kind of tune than anyone else on EARTH. Sexy fucking shit, shame the rest of the album sounds nowt like it |
