Portsmouth 2 - 2 Leeds
Entertaining game - Pompey bossed the first, Leeds the second and a lovely goal for Somma. Added bonus of 2 power cuts and plenty of humorous fan banter. 1st stop came as Utaka was through 1-on-1 with Kasper. Bit harsh but the stoppages probably assisted Pompey as Leeds were in the ascendency
Back to the grind of League Two footie shortly, fun times

Dungannon Swifts 0 - 4 Linfield
Today is Irish Cup Rd 6 day and we're at home to Dunmurray Rec. If the score isn't into the double figures i'll be disappointed tbh.

Leyton Orient 3 - 0 Swindon
I've seen quite a lot of League 1 football but it still shocks me how shit the level of football is.
Nice to see some East TCOTU character around the place but still little atmosphere.
The opened the ticket office at halftime for some special deal relating to having certain tickets meant you could get em for the Arsenal game. Anyone who left early got abuse which was funny.

Then you've been fucked all your life, isn't it? Thought that use of America was just for the yankees... well i'd say united states but technically it is united states of mexico as well,i can't be bothered, you know what i mean anyways. june 22nd i will be in houston to watch the gold cup semifinals ,which will determine who plays at the confederation cup in 2013, it's always a USA vs Mexico affair, last time we dispatched them 5-0 fucking glorious day,i really really hate team USA, i hope they all burn along with their stupid sam's army and american outlaws. rememeber evan singing those stupid songs in a bus full of dickheads, that's the american outlaws. they always do this remember the alamo thing to us which is meant to piss us off but it is quickly settled with a VIVA OSAMA chant.

spurs 3 - 2 stoke
excellent first half, second half wasnt quite so entertaining.
bricklayers arms on tottenham high road before and after the game = 10/10
also fair play to liverpool street station wetherspoons. normally the most soulless pubs going but had a good atmosphere and a huge mix of fans all exchanging good hearted banter and mixing well. was a huge southampton presence there as they were playing leyton orient, they were making a lot of noise, my respect for soton fans has increased rapidly.

Linfield 2 - 0 Glentoran
Always nice to beat the scum, made it all the much sweeter that it was the Irish Cup semi-final and we effectively ended their season.

Lincoln 0 - 4 Gills (9/10)
Tremendous performance against a very poor Lincoln side that could still quite easily find themselves in the bottom 2 in 5 games time. Gowling was excellent.
The promotion push continues.
Top away day is Lincoln, loads of nice pubs!

went to northampton vs bury yesterday. sat in the away end, was dreadful until the first goal went in and then it got pretty entertaining. efe sodje, 39 year old colossus at the back. bury won 4-2, had a decent chicken pie and bovril. bury seem to have an inordinate number of disabled fans.
10/10

Efe Sodje is a top bloke and an excellent defender.
Shame he never really settled here tbh.

It's obviously because of his bandanna He has also played for every club in the league pretty much. Always puts in a tonne of effort and reads the game very well. Matty Lawrence is on par (and a similar age) for us though plus he was at Soapdelica!

Valencia 5 - Villarreal 0
So for me the season had already ended, but now it's officially true. We are gonna end on 3rd position, and if we don't it will be our own fault. Yesterday's match was great, I'm not gonna lie, but I wasn't really into it and Villarreal weren't either. They will win the Europe League imo, as the very good team they are. But yeah, glad to see Valencia working without fissures and Mata developing a brilliant performance again.

FC Utd 1-0 Northwich Victoria. Great game After an hour our goalkeeper Sam Ashton was red carded for an elbow which wasn't an elbow, and without a reserve keeper on the bench, one of our strikers Ben Deegan came on to go in goal. He saved the resulting penalty and then later tipped another shot onto the post in the one of the best goalmouth scrambles I've seen (they hit the bar, it came out, another shot, then the save onto the post, came out, they hit the bar again and it went over). It was 0-0 at this stage so we won being a man down and having no genuine keeper. It was brilliant because he's languid and almost too laid back, think of Berbatov between the sticks and that was Deegan at the weekend. Even long balls over the top he casually strolled out to with an opposition striker busting a gut to reach it. Excellent turnout too with the big United being at home also, 2,250. 9/10
