Unlucky Stocky - things will turn round for Stockport. Although being so close to Man Shitty doesn't really help at the minute!
Always been a great atmosphere at Edgeley - been there each of the last 3 seasons. So we better get you in the cup (as Welling have let me down I think) to make it 4 visits in 4 years
Off to Derby vs Portsmouth on Saturday. Better be a cracker as I'm missing a top trip to Morecambe because of it.

Yeah - seen it from the train a few times. Any ideas of any decent boozers around the ground? Few in Sheffield followed by a few tinny's on the train (LAD)

Newcastle v Everton.
Good goal from R. Taylor, great stadium, average atmosphere but the game was of a terrible standard tbh.

Just seen a cracker at park view road. Welling dominated the whole fucking game, hit the post/bar 5 times. Salisbury had 4 chances all game and scored 3 goals went from 1 down to 2-1 welling before half time. Second half conceeded then with about 10 mins to go Pires was taken out by their keeper, red card and penality. Goal, 3-2. Salisbury go up the end with 10 men and score on the 90th minute, typical welling. injury time Pires hits one, the kind you think FFS don't even bother shooting from there and it flew in Game had everything, great entertainment. PIRES, PIRES WILL TEAR YOU APART, AGAIN.

Sheffield Utd vs Torquay - Cup 2nd Round First trip to Bramall Lane with a mate as it was only a tenner. It was fitting that an ex-Gill scored in the second minute Game was drab - first half was truly awful although Torquay did their best to hassle and restricted Utd to scraps. 2nd half was almost all Utd with a superb sliced own goal, a nice Ched Evans run and finish and then the Torquay keeper threw it straight to Evans again..... Will happily take them in the 3rd round if offered tbh

Newcastle vs Chelsea
The robbery
If Luiz has been sent off it would have been totally different, Tim Krul was outstanding again, while we hit the woodwork 3 times and had one cleared off the line, emotional game with the Speed chants etc but still feel robbed!

Macc Town 0 - 0 Gillingham
Poor, poor game - only 1 side were interested in winning it and Macc Town rarely even entered our half. They defended out the point and we just couldn't break them down. Wrong tactics from us with no width at all - Nouble & Whelps would have given us height, pace and width which were sorely missed.
Onto a packed house for the home game against Bristol Rovers this week

Didn't go last night but Welling kept a clean sheet with your Evans in the side 1-0 away to Bassingstoke, big win. I'll check him out saturday way to Sutton. WINGS

Gills 4 - 1 Bristol Rovers
8/10
Excellent performance and big result. Fully deserved. Rovers were awful at the back. Frank Nouble will be a big miss

went to spurs v sunderland today
not a classic by any means but job well done and 3 points in the bag. missed lennon and bale on the wings and we seemed too narrow at times. essou ekotto managed to get in some superb positions but seemed scared to shoot. probably most notable for modric missing one of the easiest chances ive seen since ronnie rosenthaal.
6/10

Valencia 2 - Málaga 0 yesterday
Fuckin' cold day and Málaga were quite shit. Valencia was just more solid and Soldado took good profit of the two first decent balls that arrived to him.
7/10

Liverpool 3 Newcastle 1
Once again shite atmosphere at Anfield, got beat easily, however we were looking relatively comfortable until Danny Simpson decided to go on the post for the 2nd goal, what the fuck for Danny???

norwich 1 - 1 fulham
borrowed my mates season ticket as he couldnt make it yesterday. lovely seeing martin jol in the flesh. was a good atmosphere at carrow road but norwich were frustrating for the most part letting fulham walk through them and not pressing high enough. morison was isolated up front and the crowd were getting on their backs. grant holt came on at half time and made a world of difference holding the ball up well and then brad's fave simeon jackson came on and scored the 94th minute equaliser to set the place on fire.
gripping stuff.

Simeon was under appreciated here tbh - he's a cracking footballer but very surprised to see him scoring (and now starting) in the Prem.
Now Aldershot is out of the way - all focus turns to Pulis' return to Priestfield. Stoke at home in the cup. Reckon we can do that bag of cunts. Hope Crouch plays and cops it worse than last time. SO MAD HE SLAGGED US IN HIS BIOGRAPHY for giving more abuse than anyone else.
Should be huge.
9am Spoons breakfast and 1st pint tbh

went to crystal palace v leeds today.
first trip to selhurst park, kinda liked it in an old school but weird ground kinda way. the game was fairly lively but ruined by a slightly harsh sending off late in the first half.
after the game we headed back to liverpool st ready to get back to norwich and was in dirty dicks chatting to some wolves fans about the spurs game. one said he was from sidcup so i told him i knew his postman karl. good times.
