So far I've the same opinion as Autobahn. They just sound like a 1000 bands that came before them that were more original & had better tunes.

First four strongs are very good ones and then it just goes downhill. I still like it though.

I found this pretty bad tbh.
I wasn't interested because of the lame name but after reading they had members of Cajun Dance Party I was very excited. Despite the fact they are wayyyyy to Indie I always found them an enjoyable guilty pleasure.
This lacks spark and bollox throughout.
Pains are 100 times better.

This is growing on me, although every time "The Wall" comes on I think "wow, that song" and after a minute I am like "oh yeah, it was like that then". And that serves for most of the album, I find some brilliant moments followed by some other mediocre bits.

Just isn't enough gold on the record for me. They get it right 3 or 4 times with really great tunes but the rest never reaches those heights again. It's like hey've done their homework & tried so hard to imitate a certain style without any of their own ideas or inventions & ended up sounding cold & calculated because of it.

the b-side 'coconut bible" is immaculate, like pavement mixed with pains. can anyone please point me in the direction of the album? maybe a sneaky turtle? very keen to hear the rest of this!

Contact high perhaps, but really really good. awesome stuff. hearing that b side first i was a little fooled because i just hear pavement in it, which is a good thing, but god, rollis right about Georgia, HUGE tune, and the rest is just shoegaze lovliness.
