Back to work tomorrow, the unemployed BUM can play catchup then I guess.
Come november if I'm trailing I'll probably smash a hammer through my ankle to get a few months off.

Hey mahoney. about your rule... Next time you go down to your local 'bar' you should tell them that you're planning on fucking with 500 women. Then wait and see if they laugh at you or with you when you tell them it's with the same broad.

You're a postie, you finish work at 7.30am! I plan to make more of an effort with movie watching this year, so I will contribute to this thread, there is no way in hell I'll ever get anywhere near 500, but 200 will do me just fine, so far.. Jan 1001. Igby Goes Down (2002) Burr Steers - 6.5/10 002. Gremlins (1984) Joe Dante - 8/10 Jan 2003. La Dolce Vita (1960) Federico Fellini - 9/10

i would love to take part in this but theres absolutely no chance due to a couple of reasons.
the main one is i plan on getting a lot more tv shows watched this year, obviously im going through twin peaks at the minute and then have the sopranos boxset so theyre gonna be taking up a lot of my viewing time.
also id be worried about the affect it would have on my music listening. i guess its ok for mahoney as he can listen to stuff at work whilst he does his round but i spend a lot of my evenings and weekends with music on, i guess thats why im a bit slack with films and tv in the first place.
GOOD LUCK THOUGH GUYS

Then wait and see if they laugh at you or with you when you tell them it's with the same broad. I am DELIBERATELY not going to watch the same film twice this year now. Definitely not starting no Sopranos boxset. Was gonna watch the walking dead series one but not now. Was also going to watch Hollyoaks march 27th, but not now. Should be fun though, if anything it will get people talking about films a bit more though no need to list them in here all the time, just stick a number next to the film when you post a few lines about it in the rate the last film thread. Kevin has not posted his thoughts on any of the films so FUCK HIM, he is invisible to me in this thread. Johnny has been quiet, has he folded or has he looked himself infront of the TV for a double bill of Sex in the city 1 & 2?

Will update with a short sentence on all my watched films later squires I'll be surprised if Johnny has bottled it already although maybe the size of the task in hand has him worried

there should be a tv equivalency, imo.
i'm NOT talking about the random weekly tv show that you watch on a thursday night, but specifically designed for people who are interested in watching a whole SEASON (series) of a certain show.
like 2 one hour episodes (or 4 half-hour episodes) = 1 film

If I turn off a film after 36 minutes on account it's trying so incredibly hard to be quirky and funny and its dialogues are just a sad, depressing version of Juno and its actors are so dreadful and forced it makes me want to tear my eyes out and eat them, does that count as one of the 500? I really don't think I want/can finish watching this and still feel like an intelligent woman. I don't know how Erica does it.
The film's Easy A, btw...

I've not bottled it, though the size of the task ahead has really hit home. Gonna try and do three today to make up for yesterday.
