silver apples are well worth catching. weird band from the 60s who released 2 albums then disappeared, have resurfaced again in recent years. their self titled album from 68 is one of my favourite albums ever nowadays. will probably be awful live though who knows no age woulda been worth catching but clash with the fall. if i was going then atlas sound, toro y moi, factory floor, silver apples, yuck, gruff, the fall, no age would be the main ones id wanna see and i think a lot of them clash so kinda glad im not going, woulda been annoyed. clashfinder here btw... www.box.net/shared/7jnrrq2bzl

as i said in the other thread, i just have some fairly poor quality myspace rips of about 5 songs.
they released georgia as a vinyl split single, and have a cassette tape of a few piano based songs under the yu(c)k moniker thats just been released. theyve been recording the album over the summer and i think its touted for an october release.

debut gets better with age. Indie-rock classic, had it come out in the early 90's people would be gushing over it for eternity.

Probably my least liked record by them, but yes, critics think otherwise and I can see why

I had the pleasure of seeing Yuck 10 years ago (I can't believe it's been that long) on the very first Weezer cruise.
One of the defining moments of the cruise was seeing the Wavves lead singer absolutely smashed and the the drummer in Yuck threw him over his shoulder and brought him to his cabin.
When I think about it, what a fucking trip - some great bands and Weezer played Blue and Pinkerton in Full and threw in some greatest hits each night.

Would love to see Weezer do those records back to back. It's a shame they didn't die after Pinkerton in a plane crash, with Green being released after their death so we couldn't critique it too much.
Fuck paying £50 to see them do a set that is only 50% from those records, I'd die a little inside.
This gig is incredible, I watch it at least once every couple of months

I find a lot to enjoy on late era Weezer but fuck me, just 5 minutes in and yeah, they could have become a different thing
