Remember him from Soapbox 0.2 or whatever it was? Well, he apparently heard the album today, but can't post the track-by-track reviews he did for DBTT or record covers of what he heard (for all you new kids out there, he really did do this), for a NDA reason I assume. But his words are:
"All i do want to say is: there's at least three or four absolute classics on it. One out of which is, for me, as good as Let it Be. And yes, i AM biased and in the heat of the moment. But still.
I fucking loved loads of pieces and bits, cannot wait for the album to appear. As should you all...
Starting off tomorrow with a great, great single."
He's on L4E forum if anyone's interested.

The guy said that Mucky Fingers was abad song, Importance of being idle sounded exactly like Submarine Dream by the Apples in Stereo and thought Keep the Dream Alive was the new Champagne supernova If i remember correctly ? The rest of his DBTT review was pretty accurate though

To be honest I totally see the relation between Champagne Supernova and Keep The Dream Alive; not to say they're on par, though.

This whole hearing the album first isn't as big a deal in the age of leaks is it? Back in 1997 this would have been a huge story...

What Dutch Gallagher needs to do is take a look at the world outside his window.
