Garage gig cancelled..

No, i can't find anything, just got an e-mail from ticketweb telling me it had been cancelled.

Don't know if the Village Underground one has been too, maybe they didn't fancy doing 2 gigs in one day?

Jokes aside that's a tough break Kev.

It's a nervous wait to see if the Village gig is still on.....

I hope it is mate, the only thing that makes me think otherwise is that, if they just cancelled the garage gig because they couldn't be bothered to do 2 gigs, it would cost them loads in fines and fees from the ticket agencies because they've obviously sold loads of tickets. They would have to have a legitimate reason which makes me think it might be something else pike they can't get in the country or something.

The playing during the Royal Wedding is massive for hype though and asserting there DIY asthetic and identity.

Hopefully they just cannot be arsed doing two gigs in a day. It's a week before Camden Crawl which is strange. I cannot seem them staying in England for a week.

I see on Dancing jesus someone raised the question that it could perhaps be to do with that form that promotors have to fill in for every gig. You know the one, where you tick the box to say what kind of music your club has because they have tougher rules if you have urban music. Perhaps they think 500 fans of Nigro music will blast each other away if they are crammed in a venue for six hours on the day the police force will be stretched to the limit.

Surely it must be because they can't make it, passport problems or something? Can't see the other or even Camden crawl being on now but hopefully there is a bizarre reason why they can't play the Garage.

Maybe Kate and Wills have demanded the venue for some post wedding action with all their rara buds?
