finally got a proper rip of four letter word. it is fantastic and i love it.
HOWEVER, the b-side is fucking shocking, at least on first listen.
When I'm Sixty Four anyone? -- But a poor attempt at it.
I think the vocals are way too improper? unprofessional? dont know the word, really.
i am enjoying the fuck out of four letter word though.

not a big fan of this tbh, liam sounds really nasal and kind of like a nervous 15 year old recording his first demo. tune is fairly forgettable as well.

Or is it 'written by Beady Eye' imo it seems a bit too introspective for liam and not like anything melodically that i've heard from gem before. reckon andy has the capacity to write this sort of ditty, given its diction and (brief) fiddly guitar bits. yep, money's on andy, final answer. |
