Some weeks ago João Moutinho left Sporting for Porto for 10-11 million euros, after some problems with the board. Where the fuck was Evertoon that had a bid refused of around 17 million euros for him, 2 years ago?

Not sure we actually put in a proper bid and if we did it would've been the andy johnson/ james mcfadden money.... (or somebody else), basically money that was spent elsewhere. WE have no money unless we sell first. Plus he definitely isn't worth 17m and 11m is probably still too much.

What is the deal with Ben Arfa? Not seen much of him tbh but I thought he could surely do better than Newcastle? Why is he so desperate to go there all of a sudden?

Aye like they could have afforded him, this is the club who sold McGeady and are putting faith in Pat McCourt to replace him. Goal on Saturday aside he's a wooden one.

Paddy McCourt has looked good, absolutely no reason not to give him a chance. Also, obviously Celtic could afford him, t was never going to be anything more than a loan.

Aye, I'm getting used to clubs like Stoke spending money and then going tits up but I always thought Stoke were ran better than that, so where's the money coming from? Suppose they've had a couple of seasons in the Premiership now, have spent wisely and always have a full house so it's not out of the question that they're working within their means.
