Roy and the medical team obviously don't think he's strong enough/fit enough to play every week in the Premier League so they're sending him out to play a full season to see if he can manage it.

He was half a wreck already in Roma.
Love him as a player. But lots of great players have lost their careers due to fragile bodies and he's going to be the next one.

And they didn't figure this out before signing him? He was half a wreck already in Roma. Love him as a player. But lots of great players have lost their careers due to fragile bodies and he's going to be the next one. Before we signed him he'd been unlucky, his last bad injury (ankle) was caused by a bad tackle. Since we've had him he's had 5 or 6 stomach bugs and several other niggles. I think a full season of starting every week would do him the world of good, he's not gonna get that here. Anyway, on another note it looks like Kuyt could be off. His agent said we're in talks with Inter but he could still stay, also said there could be an Inter player included in the deal. Thinking about it i hope it's not Muntari, would happily take Eto'o tbh (i'll be realistic rather than what the gimps on the official forums will do "GET SNEIJDER!!!") |
