Eavis' comments on South Bank Show are strongly suggestive of Pulp playing Park Stage. When asked about Pulp he said something like "No comment, I don't want to upset Emily", and Emily is in charge of the Park. Gonna be there on both Special Guest slot days, should be special. What time are them slots? I seen Pulp at IOW at the weekend and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. They were fucking outstanding, Jarvis was at his hilarious best with his banter, standing on equipment doing his sexual dancing, chucking sweets at the crowd and he even went in the crowd during I Spy going up to people singing "I Spy A Boy, was it you" "I spy a girl, no it wasnt you" to random people. Totally blew my mind that gig . Shame they only played This Is Hardcore of that album. clashfinder.com/s/g2011/user=003gwk.bnFriday evening on Park 8-9.15 and Saturday evening 7.45-9.00.

So are people thinking they're gonna be on the Friday or Saturday or is it just gonna be a case of turn up?

Well I'm definitely not missing Morrissey on the off chance that Pulp might come out. I hope everybody who goes down there waits patiently for the Killers to turn up.

I have a spent ALOT of time at The Park and cannot recommend it highly enough. One year I saw Franz's secret set then Dizzee Rascal and then Pete Doherty headline it. Epic night on my own at the Park. I certaintly had the last laugh on Karl who went tos ee The Cribs at the John Peel.
There's an empty beer tent opposite which is also a huge bonus. One year I watched hip hop kareoke there. On my own.
Big times.

The schedule for Benicassim is gonna be published the last week and they're charging for it. Is it made that way over there? I'm starting to hate the new Irish owner, he's obviusly getting lots of money but people are quite angry with some decissions...

Most festivals have done this for years. Thankfully Glastonbury puts them all up on their site plus give you a magazine plus thing to go round your neck when you get there for free.

So on Field Day will also be that way? Will you give me something for my neck at least?

So on Field Day will also be that way? Will you give me something for my neck at least? Nah they don't do that but they have the times up by each stage. Pretty sure last year they put the times up on the website a week before the event.

Pulp twitter:
Thanks for all the excitement over the first few shows. Who knows what will happen next ?
Seems they're definitely playing the Park, only question is what day.
Current whispers on efestivals are saying Arctics Friday, Pulp Saturday. Arctics are playing Amsterdam Paradiso on the Thursday and have a gap until a gig in Luxembourg on the Sunday, so it's certainly possible.

who's on same time as special guests on Saturday? Elbow, Friendly Fires, Aloe Blacc. Still a few saying Pulp might be playing Friday though, but I guess if you don't wanna go to the Park Friday, if on Saturday you find out they didnt play the day before, then you can be fairly confident of turning up and seeing Pulp. Get there reasonably earlyish though as I think they've had to close the field before. Coxon, The Walkmen and Tame Impala are on before so a few good bands to watch beforehand.
