Did the frogs manage to refrain from throwing urine on Cav on this stage?

Serious question - Are europeans jealous of British sporting superiority?

Cav should have been disqualified btw. He makes Luis Suarez look like the pope.

Cav is a force of nature. Not into cycling but i saw some programme where scientists couldn't work out where his speed came from, his wobbly style is apparently not to conducive to such explosive speed. I saw confiscate that dictaphone the other day Total boss.

Cavendish is a great sprinter - one of the best ever - but so terribly annoying. 43 GT stage wins is just mighty impressive (25 Tour de France, 15 Giro d'Italia and 3 in the Vuelta a EspaƱa) though. This year - and last year too - he has good competition from Germany. But sprint stages are usually quite boring tbh.

Had to chuckle when I saw Schleck almost falling over on the side of the road, already 56 minutes behind. Who is Froome?

It seemed like he had slowed down due to the rain, then he takes the win...

Yeah, it definitely looked that way. Not convinced he should have had the benefit of the push though, nor that you should be allowed to change bikes without a mechanical failure...

With a time trial bike you gain so much difference on mostly the flat but also on the descent. Plus, Froomeyboy is a better time trialist than Alberto anyway. Or at least, the Contador of today. Contador 2009 would've been a different story. The changing of bikes, well why not? If you do it with mechanical failure only they'll just break their chain or something.

I liked it when that one guy pedaled faster than the other guy. Nice one, leanne.
