With a time trial bike you gain so much difference on mostly the flat but also on the descent. Plus, Froomeyboy is a better time trialist than Alberto anyway. Or at least, the Contador of today. Contador 2009 would've been a different story. The changing of bikes, well why not? If you do it with mechanical failure only they'll just break their chain or something. Exactly - so it'd give it a different element if you had to pick to use either a road bike or TT, and be compromised on either the climbs or the flat/descent. Can't see Froome losing it from here - interesting to see where Quintana ends up though.

Spaniards? Who else apart from Purito? Because Spaniards are suspicious but Froome and Porte aren't...

Wonder if Porte wipes Froome his butt or just licks it clean. Honestly didn't know Rodriguez was competing until I saw him two stages ago. Interesting fact: Valverde would be 2nd overall if he hadn't broken his little electric motor in that one stage.

Yeah, and the dutch don't live up to their expectations lollylol pretty much accurate in everything, and normally I'd say you have a point, but (sadly) this has been the best tour for us since forever (lolol). Or well, both Belkins were doing better than expected any way. And to be realistic, they both are a level below the current top 5 riders. They have been blessed (by Vishnu) in that everything went really well for them in the first two weeks, but on Ventoux they both started to crack (pipe). Just feel bad for Ten Dam tbh, really hope he can maintain a top 10 finish but it's gonna be near impossible to achieve that.

The one that takes the most dope. And has a triangle shaped chainring.

Amazing what Horner has done in Spain with nearly 42 years.

I knew you were gonna twist it, although I guess you'd probably preferred I had said "oh, how suspicious it was from an American who never won anything in his whole long life". But I'm not like that.
Hope at least you enjoyed the views. Oh wait, you probably didn't see a single thing.

I watched every stage ans a grandpa (that never ever played any role in a GT) winning against Nibali, Rodriguez and Valverde is a big joke. I did enjoy his interviews in Spanish though.

Horner looks like a second Rasmussen tbh. Live strong, lads. Also an extra strong portion of mongs on saturday, just as I thought it could'nt get worse than Alpe d'Huez. Fuck doping budgets, the development of a motorbike/car/panzerwagen with shields with razors must be top priority. Weep 'em all oot and shove 'em off the mountains. The shits. edit: still enjoyed bits of it, 6.5/10. It reminded me of Schleck vs Contador in 2011. Except this time with a grandpa.

Yeah, Saturday was madness, always close to the disaster but thanks God nothing happened. I enjoyed more last year's edition tbh, only really cared about this halways through it. btw the agency wanted to make him a doping test today and he's apparently missing

Last year's Vuelta was better indeed, the stage where Contador took the lead was the most epic GT in years (followed by this years echelon stage in Tour de France).
