I'm not sure if everyone is on the same side. Far too many young Scottish folks (read: bams) go to T in the Park. There's always fighting and arguing all over the campsites. People getting their tents done in and all sorts. Never seen, nor heard of any of that happening at Glastonbury for instance.
I know you're in the Glastonbury is overrated brigade and I don't really care about that, I was just trying to get the point across.

Speak for yourself Andy, but I've been to eight T in the Ps, usualy with 20 + people each year, and I've never known anyone to encounter any trouble.

Maybe I was just unlucky then, I've only been the once to your 8, so fair play really. A couple of my mates have been a fair few times though and say the same as me though. All my mates that are going to festivals are giving TITP a swerve from now on, according to them. edit: my brain is pickled, I've been to T twice.

note to rolli & ben - nobody really lives in those bits of Scotland with the lochs and hills apart from religious extremists, oddballs and farmers. you're far more likely to meet Japanese tourists there than real Scots. arseholes. I wouldnt want to live in countryside if I was to ever live there. Id rather live in Edinburgh and just visit the countryside. I like both of the cities, but Edinburgh was better.

Did you know that St Andrews, Brechin and Elgin are all classed as 'cities' ? True story.

both of the cities THIS ISN'T LATVIA OR SOMETHING. Well I should've added "bigger" or "major". It wasn't meant to be a knock. Dundee, I like. Ive got a really close friend that lives there.

Did you know that St Andrews, Brechin and Elgin are all classed as 'cities' ? True story. Elgin and Brechin are not considered to be cities in the modern era and St. Andrews is just a University town. Dunblane however, is a "cathedral city" Also, we've completely forgotten to mention Stirling, which is actually a real city.

ive never had any bother at TITP but last time i was there a boy got stabbed and killed not 20 yards from our tent. The line ups do seem to be getting progressively more pish, too many folk and more expensive. It used to be amazing but I cant really see myself bothering to go back tbh

Ben, the T site had doubled in size since '04. That was probably its last truely great year. There's too many people, too much rubbish and the line-ups have got progressively more bland as the years have went by. Saying that it's still a great atmosphere, everyone's on the same side and there's a refreshing lack of middle class arseholes.excluding yourself of course??
