first listen sounded average
second listen sounded better
i get that 60'sish vibe with the awwwwwawwwwwawwwww's. Pretty decent tune. Nothing amazing though...

Not a bad tune, but I think what bothers me the most is the lyrics. Most of Alex's tunes have amazing lyrics, and these just seem average. Still have it on repeat on the iTunes though, (mind).

It was written to be a single most likely. I like it though. Not as good as an opener as the ones before it, but its still good.

maybe it's just like Leave Before the Lights Come On / Oasis' Whatever -- non album single. kind of hope that's the case, because it's not quite the right first album single imo
