cant fucking wait for os mutantes. great addition. don't get your hopes up, or better, save your time, when I saw them a couple of years ago they were fucking awful. The Scream is still doing Screamadelica at Berlin festival in september, would be surprised if wouldn't do it at lattitude. Oh, and if Dutch Uncles are from Manchester (not sure cause they've had a name change and I don't really follow them) they're my mate's mates, not a very good band.

They were pretty good when I saw them. It's pretty much only the singer left from the original lineup (I think) but they played the hits & the sounded like the hits so for me it was spot on.

when I saw them they were missing their psych/garafe edge completely, they played only one or two songs of the debut, the rest were horribly generic tropico/samba jams. Latest I've heard was that they sold A Minha Menina to McDonalds, so fuck them anyway.

For anyone who didn't see it ...
... according to Paul McMullan every actor earns £5,000,000 a film, he accused Hugh Grant of that as well, and just like Steve, Hugh ripped him a new one live on TV as well.
What a fucking rotter Paul McMullan is.

www.scribd.com/doc/59796840/Latitude-2011-Clash-Guide-v2-1someones done a clashfinder, just the music stages so far though, will post it when someones done one with all the other stuff. a few bands still to be announced, braids are playing 11.30 on sunrise on friday but not officially announced yet. also more interestingly the slot after y niwl is still tbc. am really hoping it will be a secret set from gruff rhys as they are normally his backing band. a couple of horrible clashes - worst being deerhunter/crocodiles/linton kwesi johnson and the cribs/i am kloot. anyway here is what i roughly plan on seeing so far... Fri Braids Avi Buffalo Edwyn Collins Fool's Gold Grouplove Crocodiles Caribou Jonny The Vaccines The National SAT Nevermind the Buzzcocks Tripwires The Walkmen British Sea Power Y Niwl (hopefully followed by Gruff - BELIEVE) The Cribs Tribes Echo and the Bunnymen Foals Lamarr's God's Jukebox SUN The Early Edition Instigate Debate Carl Barat/Kele (can't decide - thinking Barat though) Sea of Bees Os Mutantes Ghost Poet Mazes bit of OMD Lykke Li Eels looks like a great weekend

Almost made it this year. We were looking at tickets last weekend. We could've afforded at a stretch but would've meant being a bit skint going into August and also that I wouldn't be able to pay my Dad back some money I owe him which wouldn't have went down well.
So gutted to be missing it, line-up looks stellar.
