im surpised they only went with one single before the album release, thought they'd of gone for the second single coming out around the time of release, with a third after should it do well.
saying that they had BTL i suppose.

no don't actually play them, but i've got every CD Oasis ever released (as well as other Oasis related singles like Scorpio Rising) so i'd like the Beady Eye stuff on CD to go along with the collection. yeah same here

Considering they said "roller" was a reality check you'd think they'd put more effort in. BE have got a bit of potential but any more of these chart failures and the critics will have hung them to dry before they can even think of making a second album

The promotion for this album is over, we'll get maybe one more bside with the next single and that's it. They fucked up with The Roller and FLW being released to close to each other. cant see millionaire being a hit.
Noel, it's your turn.

Yeah, that's about right. The excitement will fade into a long, boring tour and Liam's voice will degenerate further.

It's probably a case of that being everything they've got recorded at the minute, I'd be VERY surprised if theres another single after this.

Did anyone really expect them to be that popular in the first place?
They've done remarkably well for what it is. They were/are never going to be a massive crossover hit. The fact that they're getting radio play, and generating any sort of buzz is fantastic. Did you all expect straight in at #1 singles and sold out stadium shows?
They've done just fine, and better then they or anyone else should've expected.

All the limited editions for the singles have sold out, as have most of the gigs they've played, all around the world. The reviews have been mostly moderately positive, falling on all the well known cliches, but considering the album a nice light turn with some tunes on it.
Not bad for a debut.

u2's last single - magnificent never reached the uk top 40 neither did the kaiser chiefs or the manic street preachers the charts are now dominated by 12 year old retards who buy songs from itunes wich is only good if your a fan of garry glitter tbh

I'd imagine even 12 year old Tinnie Temper/Jessie J/Whatever omelette is hot/JLS fans would download illegally as well.
I have no idea who legally buys these singles.

BTL was spot on, the buzz was immense. But then you got FLW which was wasted. It could and should have been a proper single, and the Roller which was released badly Twice, affecting the sales of the single and the album. weird weird.
