defo worst beady eye performance of the tour so far heres my across the universe What a shame... it's almost great, but Liam butchered the lyrics just a bit too much. His voice seems better on your recording than what I heard on XFM, which is a plus. It also doesn't seem like a fitting last song; should've come before Sons of the Stage IMO. I also expected an all-star cast of Weller, Ashcroft, Kelly and Coxon (and Tom/Serge from Kasabian who were backstage) to come out when they started into it, but that would've been a bit too good for this lifetime, wouldn't it?

Yikes that was worse than that fucking Fiona Apple cover of it.
I think Liam could do it well, but he was off.

I really wanted to hear this as it is my gave Beatles tune, and it does sound like death. I still hope they do a cover when I see them in June.

It was a great chance and I'm sure it was the bollocks for the people who attended the show, but his vocals are just awful, I'd be ashamed of destroying a classic like that

Is that a racist comment Sam? No No wonder people are aggresively singing Reggae at 2.30pm on a Sunday if they're drinking that stuff

Whatever it was it definately wasn't Heiniken. Another few of them and the gig would have been a disaster.

Phenomenal night. Where did you boys go when BDI came on? I got right up the front dead center, came back to the rowdy pit for sons of the stage to look for you lot but couldnt see you. There was nothing going on anyway so went and met the others. Dave 1 and Dave 2 were fucking about on the way up the pub after, 1 tried to trip 2 up but nearly stacked it into the road in front of a car, 2 (in a playful manner) accidently smashed 1 in the eye which stunned him, he was standing in the middle of the road dazed stopping the traffic Went to one of the Prince pubs for a pint, got served by a wrecked South African Nirvana fan, pretended to like Linkin Park too - to which he filled all of our glasses up and kept doing so for the rest of the time we were in there

I lost Sam, me and balldog watched bdi down the front, was fucked by the end. Had a think about it this morning and could barely remember what tunes they did. Was all good though. Those 2 verve songs were the highlight of the night for me. Scream was great tho nobody seemed into it much. Tip night, felt shit all day, am blaming the weird tasting beer in that pub.
I knew Dave 2's looks were deceptive, I could tell deep down he was a killer.

Dave 2 has fuck all on the original Dave 1.
Dave 1 is the soul of that gang.

Those not present cannot begin to comprehend the enormity of the evening.
Superlatives just won't do.

Just watched a few videos, Liam's coat was spectacular.
Would love to have been at it, but even if i had a ticket and was in TCOTU i don't think i'd have been match fit.
