Several months have gone by for it to set in, we've heard the music, seen them live, and have to say as hard as I try to ignore it, the name is tripe. The logo is also pretty unimaginative. 'Oasis' wasn't nearly as bad. Not that it matters or is of any consequence (aside from people i'm not bothered with judging them before having a listen), i just fancied a little whinge. Pleasantly surprised with the album, so that's what matters.  @ thread |

'Wigwam' wouldn't have been too bad, in the same sort of vein as 'Oasis' -- short and throwawayish.

Didn't like it at all at first but it's definitely grown on me. Although fuck the BDI crew, it's Beady Eye or NOTHING.

No Liverpool on the 12th. RAH I mentioned that Coz for some reason our work were selling the tickets, and we were able to buy them a few days earlier than general public, so I put that out there in case people wanted them, but don't think it's even sold out anyhow....
