I'm not a big fan of gore, but I do like really tense thrillers/ghosts/demons/devil type of shit. Avoid faggot vampires too, but there are some good vamp flicks out there.

I'd really highly recommend a french film called Martyrs which came out a few years back, imo a masterpiece in modern horror cinema. If you are to check it out I'd recommend not reading anything about it nor watching any trailers beforehand as I think it would effect the impact the film has.
I could list 100's but tbh I would rather you just gave that go as I've not seen it mentioned on here before.

I've heard Martyrs is good from my mate (well by mate I mean an alcoholic, going to jail for attempted murder, beat-boxing person who sometimes frequents fuse5k's abode) and he didn't shut up about it for a while. Luckily nothing he says makes any sense so I can still go in fresh. Just assumed it'd be shit since he was the only one I'd ever heard mention it.

its a good film and very fucked up, seems to be a metaphor for something too though everyone i've ever talked to it about has a different idea of what that is.

I'm not sure if I'd go that far but it's probably a fair comparison. On the subject of the "mate" his name is Horn (because it's his surname, thankfully nothing to do with cocks) and he's a mental alcoholic. He's been mates with fuse5k for years so he ends up at his flat sometimes, although it's been a while because he grassed him into the police for putting a brick through someone's window (that's a whole other story ) Would you believe these people are in their late 20's? Basically one day he decided it'd be a good idea to batter and then proceed to stab his brother-in-law 3 times in the chest, 3 inches away from the heart and then phone the police on himself. He will thankfully be going to jail for about 4 years in about 7 odd months when his case goes to court. Which is nice, because when he gets blind drunk (daily) he decides that he's infact a world renowned rap-star and beat-boxer, which I can categorically confirm that he is not. He's just a fat idiot who enjoys drinking and the occasional stabbing. There's a million and one hilarious stories related to him but I'll leave them for another day.

Invite him over to the soapy! He sounds like fun plus it'll give him something to do while he's in jail

You could try [Rec] its a decent little zombie flick. Let the Right One In is not scary, but its a brilliant film. It is about vampires, but not fruity hard body vampires. Jaws I could watch over and over, great movie with some decent scares. I've only seen it once, but as I recall The Hills Have Eyes was pretty good. It goes from thriller to horror and then to action movie. A very intersting flick that some love and some absolutely hate is Funny Games its got no gore, and its almost an anti-horror horror film. Has a neat premise and some great moments. After I first saw it, I hated it, but I've grown fond of it over time. That's all off the top of my head.

Seen most of those Let The Right One In is probably my favorite vamp movie ever tbh I will watch this Martyrs movie soon. I was thinking of downloading it but subtitles are annoying when streaming shit so I ordered it cheap off of Amazon.

After I saw it I was thinking about it for days & have my own little theory about the final scenes. It's a hard film to watch at times but very rewarding. Like I said, try to avoid reading up on the film or seeing any clips before you see it, the film will definitely have a much bigger impact this way. I'm yet to watch it for a second time yet, I hope it still hits home as hard.

Yeah, I love watching that spike go through her converse, serves her right for wearing clowns shoes. If she had a pair of reebok classics on she'd of probably not got a scratch.
