Who cares? That's not even the only song they ripped off, I mean Goodbye has the riff straight off Yardbirds' Heart Full of Soul, the chorus of Bill McCain is Love's My Little Red Book, Skeleton Key comes from the Captain's Ella Guru and so on, but there's so much of them in these songs that you really don't care if they are rip-offs, inspired by or descending from whatever forlorn tune. The Coral came out of the blue with new sounds, new influences and an enthusiasm for music that is a rare thing. And how old were they when they wrote Dreaming of You? Sixteen? I remember a demo tape with this one and Pass It On on it that David turtleed in 2005 and they were kids writing ace music. They are awesome.

Stay strong barny, always speak your mind... don't let them make you think twice, ever. ;D On a related note - blatantly stolen, but who cares really, quality tunes the both.

Played Liezah to a mate last week, the first song he'd heard by them aside from Dreaming Of You. He was impressed. Not a massive fan of them but they're definitely better than The Zutons

Love Help!, in my top 3 Beatles albums most likely, even though it could use an Act Naturally-ectomy. But still, Pass It On rapes You Like Me Too Much. Much better song.

The Zutons were very promising before they released their first record. Pressure Point, Zuton Fever ect were all good songs by that time. Their first recordings didn't age well but they were alright when they started. Shame they lost that 'touch' cause of their radio friendly pop ambitions. The real gem of that lot were The Stands. I think my life drastically changed when I heard that live snippet of All Years Leaving for the first time.
