Also, Kevin Costner has pulled out of the film and been replaced with Kurt Russell which tbh I am chuffed about. Hmmm I see what they did there...

tarantino films are events, in the sense that not many other things are events. it's a beautiful thing.

Yeah, it looks good and agree with the event thing. Although having read 85% of the script I think I'm less excited that I would if I hadn't.

Shall we have a cockney mafia meeting on opening weekend for this event?
Funny reading the entire internet putting the film down due to it's cast already. If we have been taught anything by Tarantino over the years is that he has an impeccable taste for talent in places which quite often hardly anyone can see. Just look at Uma Thurman, what had she done before or even after Kill Bill which is that memorable? I'm kind of disappointed Will Smith turned it down because I'd of loved to of seen him in a ballsy role instead of the world saving hero parts he does constantly these days.

I have nothing against Jamie Foxx, think he can pull it off brilliantly. Waltz is gonna be Waltztastic for sure. I just have some doubts about Di Caprio for that role, but I do like the guy.

i think this is the sort of role dicaprio really has to play at this stage of his career. he's obviously an excellent actor but recently he's been playing the same sort of hamster-faced, wincing annoyances that haven't really stretched him and that idiots have proclaimed as great acting. i really do think this will be perfect for him, can't wait to see it.

Shall we have a cockney mafia meeting on opening weekend for this event? Christmas day at the Prince Charles?

Trailer looks pretty bad.
dissapointed. Can't stand jamie fox. Was hoping tarantino could reinvent him, but it doesnt look like it.
The holy trinity of modern westerns for me are unforgiven, tombstone, and 3:10 to yuma (2007) I will be amazed if this surpasses any of them. I sound like a cunt, as im judging based soley on a trailer, but I've been blown away by 99% of tarantino's trailers, and this one does nothing for me.
I can see the tarantino fan boys now, but you cant compare it to "x film" as tarantino has single handedly reinvented the western loLZ!
I'm going in with low expectations, so I'll probably end up liking it.

I think people are forgetting that tarantino can get a performance out of actors that no one else has manage, he doesn't just shoot a film, he directs it. it'll be as boss as everything else he's done
