Thiago just scored a screamer against united. Really pissed De Gea off :D was an absolutely beautiful strike though. Unstoppable.

Yeah it was just perfect tbh. Really think welbeck has got a big future. Just depends on him getting the games I reckon. His first touch, in particular, was class. Looked good throughout the pre-season tbf but last night he stood out.

Got beat 1-0 off Burnley yesterday. Bramble give away his 3rd penalty of pre-season. :-X

not one person on here is claiming a title push.

getting back in the top 4 is the first goal.

which i don't think is completely beyond us.

although i don't think we'll get in sadly. :(

Yeah 3 goals conceded in each pre-season match is pretty shocking innit? Need to sort that out if you're gonna get anywhere near 4th (obviously tbf)

it's just a very strong top 4 as well tbh.

united - not going anywhere.
chelsea - still strong & experienced and a new manager to impress.
man city - getting stronger & stronger and tevez still not sold.
arsenal - dodgy end to last term but very good going forward.

be surprised if arsenal drop out tbh.

if they'd lost nasri & fabregas i'd be a little more confident. ::)

Watched a bit of the Everton v Werder Bremin game on German Eurosport last night, didn't really learn anything new about the Toffee's I predict a mid-table finish. Not good enough to bother the teams going for Europe and not bad enough to be fighting relegation.

Fantastic to hear I Wanna Be Adored been put under a compilation of Van der Sar moments.

Fantastic night ;D

Van der Sar = best Ajax goalkeeper ever, best Dutch goalkeeper ever and probably one of the best goalkeepers ever
