Anyone watched all of it yet? for me this is by far the best they've done live. Liam sounds dynamite and is pretty energetic, band are tight, song choice is good (no For Anyone/Wind Up Dream/other shite; played Wigwam). SOTEOTN goes down well. Wish they'd done Sons of the Stage at the end, but I can see why they didn't. Morning Son was surprisingly good as well/KFAD was tolerable. Once they've got a second album and can cherry pick the better numbers, they'll have a pretty good live set (seems like the quality of their material is the only thing holding them back at this point). Drop an Oasis song or two in and I'm sold. I think they'll wait to see what he does. If Noel avoids playing Oasis, Beady Eye will continue to avoid it. I caught the ending of Standing and all of Morning Son. I liked Morning Son. I also agree that the material is the sticking point and they should get better. the question is, will Noel be doing their Oasis songs. i think we all know that the answer is a resounding yes!  |

I was there and the crowd weren't controlled in any way... As a matter of fact before the taping started we were told to feel free to take pics, txt and even tweet. I think you got some more suits in there than they expected, but overall the crowd near us were pretty into it. We were 2nd row, in front of Gem. Liam's voice is sounding amazing, but I think that's down to the fact that this is his baby and he actually gives a shit now. Don't think they'll be doing any Oasis songs anytime soon though... just my opinion of course  |
