Really, really liked it; hadn't heard a band sound this bad-ass and awesome and dark since I first discovered BRMC in 2002. this is their sell out album (though I really like it) the earlier records (wooden shjips, dos, vol 1 and vol 2) are way scuzzier. and they are playing sep 6th in liverpool in one of the few remaining places you can get away with smoking weed, which is a bonus |

Apparently these guys are playing toronto the same night as Noel's first show. They don't come onstage until 11, and given Noel's bedtime is probably 10:30 these days...and it's a 20 minute walk from massey hall to where they're playing...I am intrigued.
