Liked the first couple of singles when they came out because it was the festival season and they were saturating the ear drums of everyone in the UK for a summer but that quickly turned me off them. Haven't even bothered with the second album. |

Yup, first is a bit wank. I was watching an interview with them earlier and they said the songs like Kids, Time to Pretend and Electric Feel were all written well before the first record and the other songs on the first record is what the band's sound is really like in way. I guess they put the "poppy" songs on them because they're catchy and made them a lot of money lol.
Potts, Just download it and have a listen, you aren't spending a dime on it and I think you'll like it.

I will get round to it, I would imagine. But the singles on the first album were really the only good songs, the rest was crap, so if that's what they're "really like" then I'm not filled with much optimism.
