Wintersox keeps sending me a message every now and then how he is going to move to The Netherlands and that we're gonna smoke dope all day long  He thought that in a country that has produced so many great painters and stuff he would be understood but I told him Dutch people listen to Coldplay. He was very disappointed but said we could still be friends. What a lovely, small story that shows people like wintersox, even though been disappointed and hounded away many times, still believe in the purity of mankind. Lately I've been reminiscing a lot about the sox and me, as I have moved away from the Jonestown board, am never on Soulseek and he moved away from the soapbox. In times like these it's beautiful you have people who create an album dedicated to what could be the saviour of a generation. I think Wintersox will be very proud of you! |

WINTERSOX HAS SPOKEN 'Karl, Kevin, and Helen, thank you so much.
I hear a lot in this. Neil Young, Tom Waits, Queen, Radiohead, Burial, a real modern pastiche of ideas. This is a great low-fi UK art rock record.
The way you brought out that Lou Reed type vibe on Poe Pendulum is a highlight, as well as the track with Helen The Swede. Really enjoyed them all.

I had a huge high last night swinging a Welling United shirt around my head to Suedehead (morrissey touched me this time last week you know) which I thought was the most powerful I've felt in a very long time but that twitter status has just blown everything out of the water & made me realise just how much me and Krburg achieved with this record.
There are rumours of a sequel already.
