She's outsold the rest of the top 10 combined thus far in the uk and is set to go number one in 11 countries which is good. Most people poking holes in the press are fucking dicks. Whatever you think it's nice to have a change from the same shit "europhic" synth shit on the radio (although I don't actually listen to the radio obv).
I think the album is a 6 or 7/ out of 10 with some real highlights. Would agree with Karl that it's too samey but don't mind her vocal "range". The production is fucking shocking though. Fuck knows why they went from the minimalist natural approach of Video Games to having a shit drum machine and keyboard strings all over everything.

Finally heard it and I enjoyed it. I would probably give it 7/10. Solid debut.
I don't understand the stick she is getting in the media about being manufactured. It's clear that she's more real than a lot of other female pop stars in the fact that she does actually have some sort of songwriting talent.
