Its a radio edit. Theres a good 30 seconds of the song missed out. No guitar solo.

So they edited out the part that gives it a bit of variation? hahaha I think it will take more that a Noel Gallagher solo to save that. Even the narks at L4E don't like it.
Really disappointed tbf, thought it might be a monster. It aint. Sounds like a Mel C comeback.

i got really excited listening to the original clip, sounded different and felt fresh, like you could feel it laying the groundwork to be able to kick into a new gear for the rest of the song. hearing the whole thing is a crushing disappointment. the clip is the whole song. something so promising just turning into another inconsequential dirge. it makes me sad to say it and those woo hoo's at the end are laughably rubbish. |

I mean I know he's not exactly gonna be James Murphy when it comes to building up a thumper, but for the amount of hype it got I was expecting something at least a bit exciting. It's just a bit of beige wallpaper, goes nowhere, does nothing, bland groove. I know the Beady Eye albums patchy but at least that has some fucking heights to hit, Noel's stuffs sounding wall-to-wall dreary. Maybe his Amorphus Androgynous stuff is where the good stuffs tucked away eh. |
